If you really wanted, you could have bought a Daewoo Magnus with a transverse inline 6 sending power to the front wheels only.
I cannot think of another car with this layout, unless you count the VR6 as an inl ine six.

That seems way too short to be an inline 6.
Unless it's like, 2 liters with itty bitty cylinders.

That daewoo was sold in the US as the suzuki verona. It was properly terrible. The p ow er and smoothness of a 4 cylinder, the economy and understeer of a 6 cylinder . Rust in pieces, you awful hunks of scrap...

The VR6 sort of counts, but not really because
it was
designed to overcome the fact that a transverse I-6 of any real size
is almost impossible to wedge in there. Still, the B6 Passat did it with a beastly 3.6L version (~280hp). I still want one despite all logic. Especially a 4motion wagon version because I like having more stuff to break.

I’m pretty sure there are some Volvos that have an transverse I6 and are FWD. The S80 I think?

It’s too bad they weren’t allowed to achieve their final form. They could have given us a FWD V8 sports coupe with big block fuel economy and four cylinder output. What a shame.
